Franklinton Community Mobility Plan Project Management Meeting #10 Minutes

Speed Data – Columbus to collect for areas where speeding mentioned (Cypress Avenue) and where data seemed high (Dakota Avenue)
Figure titles – increase text size
311 figures – highlight traffic related requests
Parking and Circulation figure – include legend of notable locations and show relocation of Main Street bridge
Safe Routes to School – criteria available online
Terry to provide school travel plan for Valleyview

Use straight curb and include curb ramp locations
Show where each typical applies (i.e. – 1-lane to 2-lane curb extension at Town/Princeton)
Neighborhood traffic circles – consider increasing curb radii and/or creating radius on straight leg

Typical sections – add 5-lane section with 5-10’ lanes and 2-5’ bike lanes
Consider access management and alley system
Consider removing portion of existing sidewalk under viaducts for bike lanes
Parking more critical at east end (west of tracks)
Show one-ways, turn restrictions, bus stop locations, signals
Terry contacted Jim Goodenow at Vets Memorial about moving main entrance from Belle Street to Starling Street, but has heard no response yet
In final report - recommend testing 4-lane section prior to construction (cone off curb lanes)
