Franklinton Community Mobility Plan Project Management Meeting #4 Minutes

Attendees

Requested Information Per McKenna

  • Terry provided a sheet with code violations for Franklinton
    • List of complaints from year 2005
    • Years 2004, 2006 and possibly 2007 available, if needed
    • If additional attributes needed, individual reports need to be printed
  • Police reports put back on Terry’s to do list

Communications Plan

  • Still in Draft form
  • Contact list needs added (organized by stakeholder group)
    • Only include name, title and agency
    • Include in report
    • Detailed contact information to be included in project manager notebooks only
  • Bernice to return to Terry for review and approval

June 19 Open House

  • Bernice to provide copy of citizen comments, when completed
  • Bernice to provide pre-open house stakeholder meeting minutes, when completed

Community Involvement Report

  • Summarize communication efforts, as done for Linden Plan
  • MORPC to prepare and include as a part of the final report
  • MORPC attended area commission meeting
  • to provide Bernice specific documentation on communications efforts, such as:
    • Mailings (date sent, number sent, exact number sent back (~600), etc.)
    • Flyers (approximate number and to whom distributed to at stakeholder meetings)
    • Newspaper articles (dates, exact write-up sent to newspapers)

Future Event Notifications

  • Flyers/Posters
    • See attached sheet as provided by Terry Stewart
    • Posters and mission statement to be mounted for Library and Dodge Park
    • Deadlines:
      • Thursday 06/28 – Complete for Review
      • Friday 06/29 – Print (Terry to print 1,000 copies of flyer)
      • Monday & Tuesday 07/02 & 07/03 - Distribute
  • Newspapers
    • Bernice to research area newspapers
    • Mary Webster to publish in Dispatch

Opening Workshop (Friday, July 13)

  • 5:30 PM Start Time (Nick to contact Gladden to confirm)
  • No pre-open house stakeholder meeting will be held
  • Phone calls will be made to stakeholders on Tuesday & Wednesday, prior to opening workshop
  • Create slideshow of photos showing, for example:
    • Crash barrier on West Park Ave
    • Central Ave/W Broad St Intersection
    • Parking situation
    • Railroad tracks
    • Hartford Ave and Martin Ave
  • Put GIS maps on slideshow
  • Create a new map that includes multiple data sets
  • Bring “Safe Routes to School” forms to fill out

Neighborhood Walk (Saturday, July 14)

  • Project team to meet at Gladden at 7:30 AM
  • All routes begin and end at Gladden, except Walk #4
  • Walk routes and times:
    • Walk #1 = 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
    • Walk #2 = 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
    • Lunch Break = 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
    • Walk #3 = 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
    • Driving Tour = 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM (Internal Event)
    • Walk #4 = 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM (Meet at Sullivant Elementary School)
  • Routes as planned at the open house were updated, see map for updated routes

  • No online comments were received by Bernice
  • Bernice and Dilip tested the “contact us” link.
    • Comments were received, but responses were not
  • Post Flyer from June 19 Open House (Terry to email Nick pdf of final version)

Miscellaneous

  • Larry requested from Terry a copy of the project management notebooks for Linden Plan
  • Nick to email Bernice contact information of new contacts for stakeholder groups
  • Bring maps to mark up for future key stakeholder meetings
  • Distribute stakeholder meeting minutes to stakeholders
